Activity Title Creating a needs analysis for the use of digital tools by adults with mental disabilities
A comprehensive and objective questionnaire consisting of checklists will be created in order to determine what the mentally retarded adults need to use digital tools. Our first activity will be hosted by our partner KIC, for 7 days, in May 2023, with 7 participants from each country. In the content of this activity, expert opinion will be taken about the content of the checklists to be prepared for individuals with intellectual disabilities and how they should be.
The target group of our activity consists of experts working with mentally retarded adults, adults with intellectual disabilities, and families. It is aimed to create a form that reveals the needs of individuals with intellectual disabilities regarding their digital skills.
Educators, families, academicians, science experts, teachers, administrators and legal makers of individuals with mental disabilities will be able to benefit from the studies to be carried out in line with these identified needs.
the expected results of the activity:
With this activity;
*Real needs of mentally retarded adults in the use of digital tools will be determined. Thus, an effective training plan can be prepared for the problem.
* Social inclusion and motivation of mentally handicapped individuals will be increased.
*Inclusivity will be ensured by working to ensure that all individuals in the society reach the EU Digital targets.
*Entrepreneurship and creativity skills will be supported by increasing the digital competencies of individuals with intellectual disabilities.
*Intercultural interaction will be ensured through bilateral dialogues and meetings to be held by the participants of the partners, and the importance of polyculture and linguistic diversity will be vitally conveyed to the participants.
* It will be ensured that adults in the disadvantaged group, educators and families working with these adults can also benefit from the new opportunities offered by the digital age.
*Cooperation, quality, inclusiveness, equality, excellence, creativity and innovation will be encouraged at the level of institutions and policies.
* High level basic and cross-qualifications related to EU citizenship of the participants will be developed.
LTT 2 - Preparation of the training plan according to the needs analysis

The full content of this activity will be the needs that arise after the questionnaires are applied to adults with intellectual disabilities. It will be determined which digital skill steps, which digital applications and training methods and techniques will be included in the training plan. The training plan will be revised and revised according to the needs analysis.
One of the most important goals of our project is to increase the digital competence of adults with mental disabilities and to ensure their social inclusion. Individuals with intellectual disabilities will be able to increase their digital competencies with the training plan. The training plans prepared will create a free qualified resource for the educators, families and especially themselves of adult individuals with mental disabilities.
* Individuals with intellectual disabilities who gain digital skills will be able to show themselves in different sectors through entrepreneurship.
*Adult individuals with increased digital competencies will be able to express themselves better in social and societal areas.
As a result of the activity;
Entrepreneurship and Motivation: Entrepreneurship and motivation of mentally retarded adults will increase with the increase in digital competencies. Social inclusiveness will be realized with the self-confidence of being a productive individual.
Flexibility and planning: Adult individuals with intellectual disabilities will be able to develop themselves by not being tied to time and physical space.
Collaborative work: Adult individuals will be able to take part in collaborative teamwork on digital platforms and will contribute to the development of their communication and social skills.
Being an independent individual: Individuals with intellectual disabilities will be able to use digital tools as an independent individual and will be able to do some operations independently.
*With the effective application of the potential of ICT to the education process, a step will be taken to educate all adults in line with the EU Digital goals.
LTT 3 -Control of all prepared content and uploading to digital platforms

Our last activity will be hosted by our partner SUBMEET in May 2024, for 7 days, with 7 participants from each country.The content of this activity includes basic information about digital entrepreneurship and final checking of all content prepared for individuals with intellectual disabilities and uploading them to digital platforms.The content of the event will include basic skills such as accessing and using computers to evaluate, store, produce, present and exchange information, as well as participating in and communicating in common networks via the Internet.
The target group of our activity consists of mentally retarded adults and trainers and experts working with these individuals. In the activity, participants will learn the basics of digital entrepreneurship and since they will prepare a training plan, 7 participants from each institution will participate in the activity. On the other hand, qualified participants will be selected from institutions to complete the tasks such as turning the prepared training plans into e-books and uploading the prepared videos to the MOOC platform.
As a result of the activity;
*With the awareness of the basic skills related to digital entrepreneurship, the achievement and motivation of adult individuals in academic and social fields will increase. They will be able to get a job on digital platforms by collaborating with different institutions.
*With digital entrepreneurship, which has the advantages of being flexible in working life and not requiring a lot of capital, adult individuals will be able to exist in social life without getting too physically tired.
* Considering how much the volume of e-commerce has increased in the world, it is seen that adult individuals with mental disabilities can effectively benefit from future business opportunities with their digital entrepreneurship skills.
*Characteristics required for digital entrepreneurship such as visionary, communication skills, discovering opportunities, being a researcher, determination, adapting to changes will be developed.
